Simms (Betty) of Houston; his nephews, Jonathan Simms (Jacqueline), Thomas Simms and Tyler Simms; his niece Cassandra Simms; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Sailor, Sterling and Jett; his brother Danny P. "Bevo" Simms (Carol) of New Caney; his singer-niece Shelby Lyn Ferrara (Aaron); and also John Wayne Simms (Nelly).
