We are sad to announce that on November 17, 2023, at the age of 85, Evelyn Delores Allen of Kingwood, Texas passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Evelyn Delores Allen to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Edmond and Juanita Brown Edmond; her husband Wilfred O. Allen; her brother Paul; and her granddaughter Juanita.

She is survived by: her children, Rose Marie Whitney, Cheryl Allen, Michelle Brown (Winthrop) and Damon Allen (Anitra); and her siblings, Carrie "Jean" Adams, Patricia and Fred Edmond (Pamela). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends.

Additionally, she and Wilfred formed the Wilfred O. Allen Education Foundation, Inc., which provided college scholarships to at-risk youth from Houston, Texas.
