He was predeceased by: his parents, Elvin Sholar and Dovie Sholar; his wife Janet Sholar (Richardson); his son Brannon "Bubba" Sholar; and his sisters, Rose Horn and Ann Taylor.
He is survived by: his granddaughter Tiffany Stockton; his son-in-law Adam Stockton; his sister Betty Lou Sholar; and his brother-in-law Alton Horn.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Grace Community Baptist Church (8073 FM 1960, Dayton, TX 77535).
