Though Cheryl Olenga Sackett may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Ray Sackett and Mildred Ford Sackett; her son Michael Lee Gooden; and her brother Allen Ray Lane. She is survived by: her husband Mike Gooden; her daughter MyRanda Gooden (Michelle Gooden); her grandson Roper Gooden; and her siblings, Anthony "Peewee" Buford, Ricky Estrada, Gianna Burchfield and Renee'Slater. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Simmons Bottom Assembly of God Church (2126 County Rd 2328, Dayton, TX 77514).
