She was predeceased by: her parents, Lula Parmley and Frank John Elsik; her husband Chester L. Prejean, Sr.; and her siblings, F. J. Elsik and Sue Elsik McDaniel.
She is survived by: her stepson Chester L. Prejean, Jr.; her stepgranddaughter Ricki Prejean; her nieces, Laura M. Collins and Leslie A. Martin; and her nephew Patrick F. McDaniel.
