It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Victoria L. Tijerina of Kingsville, Texas, who passed away on February 10, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Victoria Saldana and Jose Lopez; her siblings, Jose Placido Lopez, Major Hector Lauro Lopez, Hilda Martinez and Marina Cadriel; and her grandchildren, Ian C. Tijerina and Vanessa T. Grayson.
She is survived by: her husband Francisco V. Tijerina; her children, Mary M. Tijerina, Maria Nela, Juan M. Tijerina (Adel) and Daniel Tijerina (Diana); and her sister Myrtala Garcia. She is also survived by 17 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
