He was predeceased by: his parents, Adelaida Flores and Tomas F. Garza Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Maggie Garza; his daughter Veronica Hare (George Michael); his granddaughter Gabriela Hare; and his sisters, Yolanda Reyes (Romeo) and Noelia Mendietta (Manuel). He is also survived by numerous nieces and a nephew.

Due to Covid and health concerns a walk-through visitation will be held at 5:30 p. m. on Thursday, March 25, 2021, with a livestream Rosary to begin at 7:00 p. m. that evening.
