She was predeceased by: her husband Esteban Garcia Jr.; her parents, Vicente R. Espinosa and Juanita Espinosa; and her brothers, Vicente Fernando Espinosa and Ernesto L. Espinosa.
She is survived by: her children, Cassandra Cortez and Esteban Garcia V; her grandchildren, Justin Quintanilla (Annabell), Samantha Rae Westbrook (Jordan), Savanahjo Cortez, Jordan Garcia, Jay Garcia, Stephanie Negron and Gavin Garcia; and her siblings, Enrique "Ricky" Espinosa (Cindy), Maria "Tina" Garcia (Abel), Lydia Dullas, Irene Whitefield (Steve), Elizabeth Deleon (George) and Andrea Moya (Ramiro).
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary (205 General Cavazos Blvd, Kingsville, TX 78363). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery (9975 I-37 Frontage Rd, Corpus Christi, TX 78409).
