She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Lorenzo Zamora and Maria Zamora; her daughter Maria Sylvia Saldana; her granddaughter Sarah Elizabeth Escobedo; her husband Israel G. Mendietta of Kingsville, TX; her children, Joe Hernandez (Janel) of Kingsville, TX, Israel Mendietta (Linda) of Kingsville, TX, Norma Escobedo (Carlos) of Kerrville, TX and Dolly Castillo (Eloy) of Kingsville, TX; and her sister Maria Elena Garrett of Evansville, Indiana. She was also cherished by twelve grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren; numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
