He was predeceased by: his parents, Roland Davis and Helen Irene Davis (Hester); and his son Dirk Ira Davis. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca; his daughter Melodie Johnson (Walter) of Holdrege; his stepchildren, Jessica Lewis (Cole) of Winchester and Daniel Joseph Magill of San Diego; his grandchildren, Jimmy, Benjamin, Lisa and Rylee; and his cousin Marie Danburg. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Roy's honor to the American Legion, Ernest L. Anderson Post 99, 2502 E. Kenedy, Kingsville, Texas.
