She was predeceased by: her parents, Santiago Vera and Consuelo Vera; her husband Salomon Charles Sr.; her grandson Ruben Flores Jr.; and her brother Salome Vera.

She is survived by: her children, Fanny (Manuel), Salomon, Saul (Sylvia), Elsa (Martin) and Elisa (Brian). She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.

During her long and courageous battle with Alzheimer's, she continued to instill precious life values to her loved ones.
