It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raul R. Rodriguez Sr. of Kingsville, Texas, who passed away on August 3, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Tomas L. Rodriguez and Carolina R. Rodriguez; his wife Maria M. Rodriguez; and his daughter Maria Ada Rodriguez. He is survived by: his children, Rose Childs (Thomas), Irene Olivarez (Arturo), Raul Rodriguez, Jr. (Janie) and Tomas Rodriguez; his siblings, Lenor Young, Fernando Rodriguez (Grace) and Roman Rodriguez (Ana); and his grandchildren, Lawrence Avelar (Cheyanne), Priscilla Alegria (David), Jose Avelar (Danielle), Christina Rangel (Albert), Amanda Garza, Michael Rodriguez, Horacio Rodriguez, Deborah Rodriguez, Kimberly Rodriguez, Jennifer Macias, Natalie Ramirez (Joey), Norma Figuero and Tomas Rodriguez, Jr.. He is also survived by 26 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
