It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Petronilo Esquivel (Kingsville, Texas), born in Bishop, Texas, who passed away on September 1, 2019, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Primitivo Esquivel and Leandra R. Esquivel; his wife Cristina Salazar Esquivel; his brother Santiago Esquivel; his son David Esquivel; and his stepdaughter Hermila Hinojosa.
He is survived by: his children, Gilbert Esquivel (Elena), Sylvia Torre, Ofelia Salazar (Jorge), Eduardo Morales, Ernesto Esquivel (Andrea), Christina Garcia (Jose) and Robert Esquivel; his sister Maria Garcia; and his stepchildren, Octavio Hernandez, Yolanda Hernandez, Alma Acuna and Hector Hernandez. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren.
