She was predeceased by: her father Arcadio Amaya Sr.; her husband Joe Garcia; her parents-in-law, Maximilano and Julia Garcia; and her siblings, Cruz Amaya, Aurora Arguijo, Mary Lou Lopez and Guillermo Amaya.
She is survived by: her mother Josefa Orta Amaya; her children, Albert Garcia (South), Joe Garcia (Devonna) and Delfina Garcia (Faustino Montalvo); her siblings, Cristela Amaya, Arcadio Amaya Jr. (Vilma Amaya) and Reymundo Amaya (Elizabeth Amaya); her siblings-in-law, Manuel Lerma, Jesus Garcia (Sylvia) and Rachel Amaya; her grandchildren, Michelle Trevino (April Pruneda), Richard Perez, Elyse Garcia, Mason Garcia, Aidan Garcia and Ava Garcia; and her great grandchildren, Vicente, Sofia and Julian Moreno. She is also survived by nieces and nephews who saw her as a second mother.
