He was predeceased by: his parents, Pablo Gonzales and Ofilia Gonzales; his siblings, Ricardo "Dickie" Gonzales and Maria Elena Maldonado; and his half-siblings, Gloria Gonzales, Nina Gonzales, Jesus "Chuy" Gonzales and Enrique Gonzales.
He is survived by: his sister-in-law Eva G. Gonzales (Evie) of Corpus Christi, Texas; his nieces, Katherine O. Gonzales and Amanda G. Todd; and his nephew Joseph P. Gonzales. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
