He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Perfecto Montalvo and Josefa Montalvo; his siblings, Agripina Mata, Juan Montalvo and Frank Montalvo; his wife Lydia R. Montalvo of Kingsville, TX; his son Manuel R. Montalvo of Kingsville, TX; his sisters, Celestina Martinez of Premont, TX and Maria Juarez of Dallas, TX; his grandchildren, Priscilla Montalvo, Manuel Montalvo Jr. (Vanessa), Pablo Montalvo and Desirae Montalvo (Ernie); his great grandchildren, Destyni Renea Montalvo, Brianna Lynn Montalvo, Jazlyn Rae Montalvo, Joseph Montalvo, Jacob Daniel Montalvo and Elena Marie Montalvo; and his great great grandchild Zakary James Ortiz. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
