He is survived by: his wife Guadalupe Gelista of Kingsville; his sisters, Mary Bernal of Lewisville, TX and Delia Gelista; his stepdaughter Genie Gelista Bernal; and his granddaughter Hisiza. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
