She is survived by: her children, Juan Jose Cortez Jr. (Annie), Joel Cortez (Shirley), Jennifer Cortez and Jesse Joe Montalvo; and her siblings, Hilario G. Cantú III (Sandra), Odilia Treviño (John), Rebecca Muñoz (Rene), Irma Garcia (Juventino), Victor Cantú, Virginia Bueno (Oscar), Susie Ferdinand and Enrique Cantú (Sira). She is also survived by many nephews, nieces.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary (205 General Cavazos Blvd, Kingsville, TX 78363). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
