She was predeceased by: her parents, Salvador Cano Tamez and Candida Sanchez; and her granddaughter Candida Marina Jimenez. She is survived by: her husband Johnny C. Maldonado Jr.; her children, Esther J. Jimenez, Angelita O. Maldonado, Delilah Ann Maldonado, Domingo Jimenez Jr. and John Anthony Maldonado III; and her siblings, Elida Gonzales, Dolores Abundo, Herlinda Cavazos, Noemi Vasquez, Ofelia Carrillo, Noe Tamez and Ruben Tamez. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
