He was predeceased by: his brother Ivan Alvarez. He is survived by: his wife Maria H. Alvarez of Kingsville; his children, Elis Alvarez Mendiondo of Kingsville, Eric Xavier Alvarez (Carola) of Arlington, Omar Xavier Alvarez of Kingsville and Justin David Alvarez of Kingsville; his sister Judith Alvarez Hall of Jacksonville, Texas; and his grandchildren, Sean, Alexa, Ricardo, Cristian, Nicolas and Kalel. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
