We bid farewell to Norma G. Payne of Kingsville, Texas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 21, 2025 at the age of 87. Norma touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Henry and Aileen Henry; her former husband Bobby Payne; her son Quinten Powell; her granddaughter KateLynn Powell; and her brother Dr. Raymond Henry.
She is survived by: her spouse Arvis Powell; her children, Danielle Miller (John) of Kingsville, Rachelle Brandt (Buddy) of San Angelo, Darron Powell (Carole) of El Paso, Brett Powell (Griselda) of Corpus Christi, Shannon Powell (Mandy) of Riviera and Todd Powell of Nacogdoches; her stepdaughter Cheryl Gray of Groesbeck; her grandchildren, Renee Minjarez, Rita Minjarez, Oriel Powell, Orion Powell, Lacy Powell, Ciana Powell, Aero Powell, Nicole Bieze, Landin Powell, Jaden Powell, Bryson Goldman, Taylor Goldman and Brayden Goldman; and her close friend Cecilia Sears. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary (205 General Cavazos Blvd, Kingsville, TX 78363). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 12:15 PM at the Chamberlain Cemetery (735 W Caesar Ave, Kingsville, TX 78363).
