He was predeceased by: his parents, Trinfo Gonzales and Aniceta Gonzales; his siblings, Ignacio Gonzalez, Santos Gonzalez and Maria Beltran; and his granddaughter Jennifer Vela.
He is survived by: his wife Amalia G. Gonzales of Kingsville; his children, Santos Gonzales (Alma) of Kingsville, Lucinda G. Stevens (Rick) of Laguna Vista, Lionila G. Villarreal (Joe) of Riviera and Eliza G.; his grandchildren, Santos Jr., Arturo, Noralee, Juan Jr., Javier, Jose Rene Jr., Celina, Lillian, Araceli, Tres, Sonja and Noe Omer; and his sister Ernestina Castillo. He is also survived by numerous extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home (230 E Ella Ave, Kingsville, TX 78363). A rosary was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St Martin Catholic Church (715 N 8th St, Kingsville, TX 78363-4515).
