He was predeceased by: his parents, George Edward and Dixie Moore; and his brother George Edward Moore Jr. "Bud". He is survived by: his wife Yanira Hernandez Moore; his daughter Crystal Earlene Payne (Billy Beltran); his stepchildren, Donny Elliott (Sonia), Alejandro Hernandez (Erika), Francisco Hernandez, Ricardo Hernandez and Camila Hernandez; his granddaughter Makayla Maree Payne; his stepgrandchildren, Emilee, Enzo, Elorah Elliott, Leo, Cristian and Alex Hernandez; his great grandchild Ayzalyn Lyzae Payne; and his sisters, Rhonda Moore Sciaraffa, Suzanne Johnson (Jimmy), Penny Leake (Wayne) and Diane Moore.
