He is survived by: his wife Maria Elma Velasquez of Kingsville; his children, Lisa Pautzke (Steve) of Kingsville, Luis Orlando Velasquez (Phaedra), Romeo Velasquez (Lebby) of Kingsville and Michael Velasquez (Daylene) of Kingsville; and his siblings, Rene Velasquez, Rolando Velasquez, Pantaleon Velasquez, Raquel V. Guajardo, Cristina V. Briseno and Ida V. Ambriz. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
