He was predeceased by: his father Miguel Rios; his son Gabriel Rios; his sisters, Elma Rios and Norma Dominguez; and his stepfather Jose Dominguez.
He is survived by: his mother Margarita G. Dominguez of Kingsville, Texas; his children, Tavis Rios (Jackie) of Florida, Miguel Medrano (Gina) of Edinburg, Danny Rios of Edinburg, Joshua Reyna of Edinburg, Jerry Rios of San Antonio, Texas and Leticia Rios of Florida; his close friends, Maria Cisneros and Mary Lou Garcia; and his siblings, Miguel Rios Jr. of Kingsville, Rene Rios of Kingsville, Eloy Rios of Kingsville, Moses Dominguez of Kingsville, Jose A. Perez (Victoria) of Kingsville, Jose M. Dominguez (Abelina) of Plano, Texas, Olga V. Garza of Kingsville, Texas, Nora Hernandez (Jesus) of Kingsville, Texas, Maria E. Garcia of Kingsville, Texas and Delma Salazar (Lionel) of Kingsville, Texas. He is also survived by twenty grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, and nephews.
