He is survived by: his parents, Marcos Alaniz and Paz Alaniz; his wife Nancy R. Alaniz of Kingsville; his children, Lisa Alaniz of Kingsville, Mario Alaniz Jr., Adam Alaniz and Nicolas Alaniz; his siblings, Marcos Alaniz Jr., Estevan Alaniz (Norma) and Brenda Salinas (George); and his grandchildren, Thea, Cassie, Gio, Avery, Adalynn, Nicole "Nini" and Olivia. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
