She was predeceased by: her parents, Jose Martin Barrera and Fidela Pena Barrera; her brother Aniceto Barrera; and her sons, Oscar Mario DeLaPaz and Rene Rey DeLaPaz.
She is survived by: her children, Doreen Betsy DeLaPaz-Reyes (Omar Rey Reyes) and Rolando Robert DeLaPaz (Audrey DeLaPaz); her grandchildren, Karlene Cano (Ruben Cano III), Laurie Noriega (Armando Noriega), Dorimar Nai Reyes and Dioree Rae Reyes; and her great grandchildren, Mackenzie Grace Cano, Ruben Cano IV and Armando Noriega III.
