She was predeceased by : her father Jose Herrera; and her siblings, Luis Herrera, Enrique Herrera and Consuelo Herrera Garcia. She is survived by : her mother Juanita Ramirez Herrera; her daughters, Lynda Herrera Salinas, Maria Esther Medrano (Daniel Medrano) and Krystale Marie Salinas; her siblings, Jose Herrera Jr., Ernesto Herrera (Belia) and Diana Morneau (Albert); and her grandchildren, Sarah Salinas, Joel Salinas Jr. (Liz Vela), Tiffany Salinas, Alyssa Hernandez, Lilly Trevino, O. Tres Herrera, Desiree Herrera, Lynzie Herrera, Olivia De La Garza, Eli De La Garza, Jezabell Salinas and Joshua Salinas. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Saturday, June 29th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM at the Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home (230 E Ella Ave, Kingsville, TX 78363). A funeral service was held on Saturday, June 29th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
