She was predeceased by: her parents, Antonio Zuñiga and Lucia Zuñiga; her husband Valentin Heras Sr.; her stepdaughter Victoria "Vicky" Heras; and her brother Zaragoza Zuñiga (Yolanda).
She is survived by: her stepdaughters, Valerie Soliz of Kingsville and Velma Heras (Mando Liguez) of Bishop; her son Valentin Heras Jr. of Bishop; and her siblings, Irene Sanchez (Arnold) of Kingsville and Victor Zuñiga (Sylvia) of San Antonio. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
