He was predeceased by: his parents, Marcos Gonzales Sr. and Guadalupe Vela Alvarez. He is survived by: his wife Yolanda Marroquin Gonzales; his daughters, Cynthia Gonzales Taylor (Veronica), Patricia Gonzales Luna (Rafael) and Anna Maria Gonzales (Gabriel); his stepchildren, Stephen Marroquin (Emily), Joey Rocha (Nettie), Carmela Soliz, Martha Perez and Juan Munoz; and his siblings, Maria Louisa Hernandez, Norma Linda Hinojosa, Nora Alvarez Garza (Robert), Rolando A. Alvarez of Ernesto Alvarez, III., Linda Gonzales, Bonnie Gonzales and Petra Gonzales McMinn. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces nephews.
