She was predeceased by: her parents, Francisco Villa and Valeriana Riviera Montalvo; and her siblings, Lina M. Vela, Francis M. Mendietta, Jesus Montalvo, Braulio Montalvo, Sr., Jose Montalvo and Oralia M. Saldaña.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Ortiz; her children, John Moya (Veronica Mendiola) and Sabrina Byrom (Jason); her sisters, Sylvia M. Garcia, Mercedes M. Kunkel and Angelita M. Hernandez; and her grandchildren, Jordan Byrom of John Moya, II. and Julian Moya. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary (205 General Cavazos Blvd, Kingsville, TX 78363). A rosary was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. Viewing was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM at the St. Gertrude Catholic Church (1120 S 8th St, Kingsville, TX 78363). A Mass was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at 11:15 AM at the Riviera Cemetery (285 Fm Rd, Riviera, TX 78379). A burial was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at the same location.
