She was predeceased by: her husband Luciano Bazan, Jr.; her granddaughter Sabrina Renee Pina; her parents, Arturo Gomez and Olivia Gomez; and her siblings, Arturo Gomez, Tomas Gomez, Servando Gomez, Hilda Guevara, Teresa Robles and Esmeralda Gomez.
She is survived by: her boyfriend Jose Estrada; her daughters, Marylou Garza, Norma Corona (Steve) and Irene Sandoval Sr. (Edward); her grandchildren, Stephanie Garza, Jennifer Garza, Maribel Gonzalez, Sara Corona, Edward Sandoval Jr., Alexandra Sandoval and Maycie Sandoval; and her siblings, Alex Gomez, Robert Gomez (Laura), Oscar Gomez (Cathy), Ramon Gomez (Rosario), Sulema Cantu (Ernesto), Elma Rodriguez (Jesus), Dolores Hernandez, Librada Cavazos and Estella Guerra (Ruben). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary (205 General Cavazos Blvd, Kingsville, TX 78363). A rosary was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Santa Gertrudis Cemetery (835 W Caesar Ave, Kingsville, TX 78363).
