He is survived by: his wife Margarita B. Amador of Kingsville; his children, Jose Amador (Jessica) of Corpus Christi, Melissa Pena (Ruben) of Harlingen and Leticia Amador of Kingsville; his brother Ruben Amador (Maria Luisa); and his grandchildren, Marissa Marie, Ryan, Johana, Jose Jr. and Jaela. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
