She was predeceased by: her husband Eliseo Ortega Sr.; her children, Audelia Jenkins and Eliseo Ortega Jr.; her parents, Maria Garcia (Solis) and Jesus Garcia; and her siblings, Celia Gonzales and Jose Garcia.
She is survived by: her children, Alicia Hudson (Jerry) of Godley and Rene Ortega (Melissa) of Bedford, TX; her children-in-law, Irma Ortega of Bishop and James Serafin of Corpus Christi, TX; her sister-in-law Estolia Garcia of Alice, TX; and her siblings, Consuelo Martinez of Edinburg, TX, Cristela Orta, Elida Rosales of Saginaw, Ilmarrosa Tagle (Roberto) of Robstown, TX and Jesus Garcia Jr.. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren and 46 great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews.
