He is survived by: his wife Carole; his sons, Mike Smith (Lori) of Morgan and Keith Smith (Tracy) of Valley Mills; his grandchildren, Elisa Powell, Kadi Baize, Ryon Smith, Stuart and Tyler Smith; his great grandchildren, Kaydance Powell, Jett and Knox Baize; and his siblings, Esther Roper of Womack and David Coates of Johnston. He is also survived by many in-laws, nieces, nephews and other family members and friends.

Lewis Wayne Smith, 84, of Lake Proctor, Texas died April 28, 2020 in Waco, Texas from Covid-19.
