He is survived by: his children, Yolanda Garza (Frank), Joe Duarte, Jr., David Duarte and Amy Amador (Eli); and his sisters, Maria Morales, Dolores DeLeon and Lucy Duarte. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; numerous, nieces, nephews, and extended family.
