He is survived by: his wife Maria Elena Pena; and his daughters, Josie Pena (Arturo Ramirez), Elizabeth Pena Vela (Raul) and Cynthia Pena Benoit (Wayne). He is also survived by nine grandchildren, several great -grandchildren, and great -great grandchildren.
