He is survived by: his son Jose G. Olivarez Jr.; his adoptive son Sam Sendejo III; his siblings, Pedro Hernandez (Ale) and Maria Ortegon; and his sisters-in-law, Grace O. Olivarez and Grace M. Olivarez.
