He is survived by: his wife Aida "Bonnie" Fernandez; his children, Jessica Flores (Jon Bishop), Venisa Fernandez and Jose Angel Fernandez Jr. "Joe"; his siblings, Rosa Maria Pena, Roberto Fernandez, Jacinto Fernandez, Raymond Fernandez and Javiel De La Cruz; and his grandchildren, David Daniel Guerra (Rosie) and Autumn Fernandez. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
