He was predeceased by: his parents, John S. Thompson and Trinity Dalbosco Thompson; his wife Kathleen Marie Thompson; his siblings, David and Annie Mae Alex; and his brother-in-law William "Bill" Alex.
He is survived by: his sister Myrtle Alexander; his brother-in-law Milton Alexander; his uncle Butch; his nieces and nephews, Sam Alex (Peggy), Hank Alex (Cindy), Nolan Alexander, Leslie Lee, Billie Ann Loep (Jack) and Jennifer Alexander; and his brothers, Johnny Morris, Claude "Junior" Morris (Jean), Robert Morris, Joe Morris and Shirley Smith.
