He is survived by: his parents, Raymond Vina and Mary Vina; his daughters, Divina V. Trevino (E. J.) of Bishop and Esmeralda Vina of Kingsville; and his siblings, Alice, Cindy, Lupe, Molly and Ray. He is also survived by five grandchildren; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
