He is survived by: his wife Maria Irene Alvarez of Kingsville; his mother Ernestina Alvarez of Kingsville; his stepfather Jose Maria Loera of Kingsville; his daughter Daniella Alvarez of Kingsville; his siblings, Ruben Alvarez of Kingsville, Cynthia Lerma (Pete) of Kingsville and Monica Loera of Kingsville; his aunts, Isabel Arteaga of Houston and Elsa De Leon of Missouri City; and his nieces and nephews, Javier Daniel Loera, Rogelio Mendoza, Christi Lee Mendoza, Regina Alvarez and Eric Cortez. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
