He was predeceased by: his parents, Presciliano and Consuelo Benitez, Sr.; and his nephew Hector Gilberto Garcia III. He is survived by: his siblings, Presciliano Benitez Jr. of Kingsville, Abelardo Benitez (Belinda) of Kingsville, Genny Benitez Garcia (Hector) of Kingsville and Liza Benitez Martinez (Angel) of Calallen; and his nieces and nephews, Sabrina, Daniella, Jessica, Sofia, Johnnie, Nathaniel, Matthew and Elijah. He is also survived by numerous cousins and friends.
