He is survived by: his children, Israel Vasquez, Jr. of Kingsville, Texas, Jose Gabriel Vasquez of Falfurrias, Texas, Benjamin Vasquez of Alice, Texas, Maria Teresa League (Steven) of Fredericksburg, Virginia, Amanda Vasquez-Mashburn of Kingsville, Texas and Mary Elizabeth Vasquez (Wayne Magill) of Austin, Texas; his grandchildren, Gavin Dismukes, Adam Vasquez, Daniel Ramos, III, Jaxon Mashburn, Jeremy Vasquez and Nicole Vasquez; and his pet Bronson. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM at the Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home (230 E Ella Ave, Kingsville, TX 78363). A rosary was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A prayer was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Central Baptist Church (901 E Henrietta Ave, Kingsville, TX 78363). A burial was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Santa Gertrudis Memorial Cemetery (835 W Caesar Ave, Kingsville, TX 78363).
