He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesus Galvan and Magdalena Galvan; his wife Olivia M. Galvan; his son Santiago "Jimmy" Galvan; and his siblings, Santiago Galvan, Rosa Elia Aguilar and Graciela G. Martinez.
He is survived by: his children, Israel Galvan Jr. (Carmen), Angie Moreno (Roy) of Kingsville and Pricilla Galvan (Alfred); his daughter-in-law Gracie Galvan; his brothers, Jesus Galvan Jr. and Carlos Galvan; his grandchildren, Joseph Robert, John Paul, Nicole, Austin, Lacey, Ernesto Jr. and Israel; and his great grandchild Catalina. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
