With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ilia Mendez De La Paz (Kingsville, Texas), who passed away on July 20, 2023 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Ramiro De La Paz; her parents, Jose P. Mendez and Beatrice Mendez; and her siblings, Raul Mendez, Amalia Rios, Jose Mendez and Jesus Mendez.
She is survived by: her sons, Daniel De La (Teresa), Ramiro Jr. De La (Minerva), Ramon De La (Ostine), Ricardo De La (Lucinda) and David De La (Robyn); and her siblings, Ofelia Alaniz, Ramon Mendez (Eva), Rolando Mendez (Norma), Ricardo Mendez (Endida), Ernesto Mendez and Rhonda Mendez-Dowell (Barry). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews.
