It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hildegard Jäger Lyie in Kingsville, Texas, who passed away on October 18, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Margit Jäger and Matias Jäger; her siblings, Georg and Mariechen; and her grandson Jonathan Michael Reyes.
She is survived by: her husband William "Bill" Lyie; her sisters, Margit (Gerhardt) and Olga (Helmuth); her daughters, Carmen Cavazos Pratt (Reagan) and Christine Cavazos Mora (Rudy); her stepson John Lyie (Yashih); and her grandchildren, Robert, Lisa, Jeremiah, Christopher, Caleb and Juliana. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
