He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonio Reyes and Maria Reyes; his siblings, Roberto Reyes, Raul Reyes and Elvia Vasquez; his niece Paula Martinez; his wife Velma T. Reyes of Kingsville; his sons, Gilbert "Bert" Reyes Jr. (Karie) of Kingsville and Jose Antonio "Tony" Reyes (Crissy) of Kingsville; his grandchildren, Matthew, Sydney, Camryn and Taylor; and his great grandchildren, Emma, Isaiah and Isaac.
He is survived by: his siblings, Romero Reyes (Yolanda) and Gloria Cavazos. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
