He was predeceased by: his parents, George David and Bertie Francis Alexander. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Evelyn; his daughters, Lisa McFarland (Jesse) and Kim Davis (Kevin); his stepdaughters, Renee Trip (Harold) and Letisa McKenzie; and his grandchildren, Reed Maness, Grayson Maness, Rhett Davis, Ashlyn Davis, Trey Trip and Pauline Nowell. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
