He was predeceased by: his wife Olivia J. Garcia; his son Francisco "Frankie" Garcia Jr.; his siblings, Estorigia Garcia Garza, Eugenio Garcia and Maria Christina Garcia; his parents, Buenaventura Garcia and Aniceta Garcia; and his grandson-in-law Daniel Lee Alvarez.
He is survived by: his children, Rosabel G. Garza (Ernesto), Gilbert Garcia (Lupita), Dalia Cavazos (Julian) and Belinda Haag (Steven); his grandchildren, Angelica Barrera (Gavino), Ernesto Garza Jr., Valerie Garcia, Aniella Garza, Vanessa Cavazos, Julian Frank Cavazos (Michelle), Alexia Garcia, Alejandra Garcia (Adan Beltran), Dacia Cavazos (Lexi Hernandez) and Montana Garcia; his pet Chico Haag; and his sisters-in-law, Lola Garcia, Teresa Garcia and Delia Garcia. He is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
